TSOA to Rock Anthem, Halftime of Giants vs Falcons

Trombone Shorty will be performing the National Anthem and Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue will play live during halftime of the New York Giants' NFC Wild Card Playoff Game vs. the Atlanta Falcons on January 8, 2012 at 1:00 PM ET. The Anthem and the game will be broadcast live nationwide on FOX.

Shorty will also be in NYC the night before the game, performing at Carnegie Hall in New York City as a featured guest of the Preservation Hall Jazz Band's 50th Anniversary concert. Other special guests include My Morning Jacket, Mos Def, Allen Toussaint, Del McCoury Band and GIVERS.

This January weekend in New York follows the band's five-show sold-out New Year's Run, with a show in Aspen and two in Denver leading up to two sold out nights at the legendary Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco on December 30th and 31st.
